Make this granola your base recipe. You can add chocolate chips, dried fruits, more nuts, anything you desire! So yummy and zero refined sugar!
We all have those things that when we were children we swore we would never do to our kids if we ever had them one day. Such as “I’ll let my kids eat candy everyday when I’m an adult!” Or, “I will never answer them ‘because I said so’ when they ask me why.”
One of the many things that drove me crazy was that my mom wouldn’t let us open more than two different types of cereal at a time. I can still hear her saying, “finish that box before you open the next”. Well here I am twenty some odd years later saying the same things to my kids.
Having more than one package open at a time of an item drives me crazy. So when I look in the cabinet and see 4 different bags of nuts open I need to do something about it.
Enter this granola.
Try this granola with a sliced banana topped with peanut butter and honey and cinnamon for an awesome gluten-free breakfast with plenty of protein to keep you going. One of my favorites! Of course, I often have a bowl of fruit, topped with yogurt and this granola for dessert too!
