Need it Now Queso Dip
Make this dip to snack on while getting kids ready for bed.
Servings: 4 people
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Flour
- 1 C Milk or milk substitute
- 1 1/2 C Cheese cheddar, or anything you have on hand
- 2 Jalapeños seeded and diced more or less to taste
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour for 1 minute.
Slowly add milk, continually whisking until thick. About 2 minutes.
Turn heat down to low. Whisk in cheese.
Once cheese is melted, add spices and jalapeños.
Remove from heat and enjoy with chips, bread or your fingers.
