Honey Mustard Chicken Marinade and Dip

Creamy, sweet and tart chicken marinade. Also makes an amazing dipping sauce.

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon spicy mustard
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey increase to 3 Tbsp if you like it sweeter
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 chicken breasts trimmed of fat


  • In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix all ingredients, except chicken.
  • Add 1/2 cup of sauce to a large zip top bag and add chicken breasts. Move sauce around to coat each chicken breast.
  • Save the remaining sauce for dipping.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
  • Remove chicken breasts 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Place chicken breasts evenly in a 9x13 baking dish or rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F at the thickest part.
  • Serve with extra honey mustard sauce for dipping.
