Ingredients
1yellow or sweet oniondiced
3tablespoonminced garlicabout 5 cloves
1poundchicken breasts
1canblack beansdrained and rinsed
1canfrozen or canned corndrained
1candiced tomatoesdrained
4Cchicken broth32 ounce box
½16 oz jar505SW™ Flame Roasted Green Chileadd the whole jar if you like it spicy!
¼Clime juiceabout 4 limes
1tsp eachgarlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt
½teaspoonpepper
Toppings
shredded cheese
sour cream
cilantro
avocado
tortilla chips
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Check the chicken for doneness after 2-3 hours.
Remove chicken and shred.
Return to soup and serve.
Top with all the fixings!
Notes
*We recommend starting with ½ of a 16 oz jar of 505SW™ Green Chile and then add more if you want it spicier.**Directions for using an InstaPot: Combine all ingredients to InstaPot and select soup button. Allow to cook for 30 minutes and then release steam. Remove chicken and shred. Then return to the pot. Serve and enjoy!
