Simple Ingredients for Honey Mustard Chicken Marinade

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Greek Yogurt (or mayonnaise)
  • Spicy Mustard - or regular yellow mustard if you prefer
  • Whole Grain Mustard - Get regular, not flavored. I like Grey Poupon or Inglehoffer.
  • Honey
  • Kosher Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Chicken Breasts - trimmed of fat

How to make Honey Mustard Chicken

In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix all ingredients, except chicken. Add ½ cup of sauce to a large zip top bag and add chicken breasts. Move sauce around to coat each chicken breast. Save the remaining sauce for dipping.

Refrigerate for 1 hour or up to 24 hours. Remove chicken breasts 30 minutes before cooking and preheat oven to 425°F.

Place chicken breasts evenly in a 9x13 baking dish or rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes on center rack until internal temperature reaches 165°F at the thickest part.

Serve with extra honey mustard sauce for dipping.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup olive oil
